Filing a New Course for CE Credit

(One that is not yet listed on the NABIP Ohio website)

All requests for course approval must be submitted at least 30 calendar days in advance of the course date. It is HIGHLY recommended you submit at least 45-60 days prior.

Submit the following items to the NABIP Ohio office via email to [email protected]

  • Course outline (preferably in Word), with detailed time for each topic listed
    See sample provided by ODI of ACCEPTABLE outline
    See sample provided by ODI of UNACCEPTABLE outline
  • Course purpose/objectives
  • Sample promotional materials (your email that is being sent to advertise the course)
  • Bio of speaker(s)
  • Refund policy and course tuition
  • Sample of Certificate of Completion

**When advertising course, be sure to include “CE approval pending” by the title and if it is approved already include “CE approved” by the title.**

If there is a change in class date, location or instructor you must notify the NABIP Ohio office immediately.

Course content MAY NOT be changed from the original submission for CE credit.

Submit the sign in/out sheets AND a typed Attendance Roster to the NABIP Ohio office within one week following the class date. Documents should be emailed to [email protected]

NOTE:  ODI and/or PSI Online periodically will audit continuing education classes.  Their representative will identify themselves and may attend any course for the purpose of an audit without paying a fee.

You MUST follow the above instructions.  Failure to do so could jeopardize your ability to offer a course at the time you want or a member’s credit hours.
